Betty & Buster Lockwood Cancer Detection and Treatment Centre opened last Fall at Trillium – West Toronto for ambulatory or ‘outpatients’ not needing an overnight hospital stay. They receive diagnosis and treatment in a relaxing setting adjacent to and accessing Trillium Way with its ‘Healing Garden’ – lofty and sun-filled with walls of living plants. The Centre offers Pain & Symptom Management, Neuro (surgery follow-up), Radiation (consult), and Infusion Clinics; Chemotherapy Suites; and Exam, Family Support and Education Rooms.

Betty Wallace Women’s Health Centre, also at Trillium – West Toronto: Early diagnosis of breast cancer empowers women of any age and saves lives. As a designated Ontario Breast Screening Program site, women over 50 can self-refer for mammograms. When further examination or intervention is needed, such as surgical consultations and biopsies, follow-up is a one-stop experience in a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
